I've been looking for something to give my son to do that would keep him entertained. This is what I came up with.
I hid a few things in a bunch of rice and had him find them all.
Notice that I have the rice in a pan and then have it on a drop cloth.
He played with this for an hour one day and then the next day he asked for the "rice" I taught him the very first time not to throw it or I put it away. He is a quick learner.
