Scones (Thanks Janae)
1/8 cup warm/hot water
1 Tbsp yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp oil
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 tsp soda
1/2 Tbsp Baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
4 cups flour

1) mix water, yeast and sugar then wait 5 minutes
2)then add everything else (egg, oil, buttermilk, soda, powder, salt, and flour) Mix
3) Roll out and cut into scone shapes.. (they do grow so don't get them too big)
4) cook in a skillet of oil, flip over so each side can become golden brown.
5) Enjoy

***We ate our with navajo tacos, throw some chilli on top, lettuce, cheese, ranch, sour cream. whatever else you desire. we also jsut eat them with jam or honey butter!***
**If you don't have buttermilk which we never do here is a way to make your own. It really works:
1 Tbsp lemon juice put this is a measuring cup.
then fill up to the 1 cup line with milk.
