DIY: St. Patrick's Day LUCK letters

I wanted some blocks that said LUCK. This is how they turned out... I'm not quite sure what I think of them. I would love some real feed back. I won't be offended.

The final product was a bit of a mistake. I put some green paper on the blocks, put on my vinyl letters and put some gold ribbon across the bottom. They looked terrible. No joke. The most boring craft I think I have ever done. Well, my craft budget is currently gone until March (Luckily, that is tomorrow) So, I had to use what I had. I didn't have any cute embellishments that would match the only thing I could find were some left over St. Patrick's Day Cupcake Cups from my topiary. I cut the middle out and used the cute already crinkled, shamrock, green paper as an embellishment.

I just glued them on and put the gold string over....Here is a close up.
I guess this is what happens when you run out of craft money... I would really like to know what everyone thinks!
2 more St. Patty's crafts coming this week. Watch for them

I like them. The crinkle paper looks cute and they look atractive. Maybe something on the edge of the crinkly but I think they look good like they are.

I like them! I think the cupcake wrapper idea is great! It adds a little flair! I think using the same sort of cupcake wrapper thing would be really perfect for some 4th of July blocks! :) Where do you get your blocks? I'm looking for some! :)

Kim, I am borrowing Lissa's machine and my friends cartridges. Craftysix: I went to home depot bought a 2 by 4 and had them cut it into blocks. I got a ton of blocks for like 3 dollars...
