Kitchen Cabinet to Toy Box

My friend is in construction. They ripped up a kitchen. This is what he brought home.
I think he was kidding when he asked if I wanted it but I sure did.
Don't you think it is pretty? No? well it will be.We did a few coats of black spray paint Then a few coats of polyurethane spray paintI then measured some foam to the length and width of the cabinet and then I covered it with some cute material.. I glued the fabric on with Tacky glue.
Ky wanted to use the left over fabric as a blanketThen I glued the foam/fabric with gorilla glue and then put some weight on it and let it sit for a couple hours.
Then I used the cricut to give me some letters! Then I just applied them on front!I had some remaining fabric and I just glued it inside the cabinet on the bottom.
It is mostly to give the bottom some protection from scratching. But it looks awesome

I got a tub and put the small toys in that then put all the toys in.
I'd say that this turned out great. Kyden likes it too and it serves two purposes. Toy box and bench. Yes, he does have an ice cream mustache!Hope you all like it. Let me know what you think!

I think it's adorable, fabulous, and perfect in any child's room! The front doors eliminate the worry of the lid falling on fingers or any other toddler body part, and that's great! Thanks so much for sharing!
