I wasn't able to go but I thought that is was so cute!! I had to do one. I enlisted the help of my friend Amiee who is super talented and also her husband who is awesome. They were able to make these wood blocks.
Super cute right? I was super impressed.
We painted them with regular acrylic paint. I liked the way the wood look coming through the paint so I only did one coat.
Here is Amiee. When I tell you she is talented I mean it. She painted the majority of her stuff while holding a7 month old baby.
Bought some festive ribbon and cut out some vinyl.
Final Project!
I love it I didn't think that we needed to sand the edges down because it looked good without. Why make it harder than it has to be right?
