Quiet Book Page 3

I wanted to use material for this page because it was a little more sturdy.
-some material
-a pre-cut pellon page
-a strip of felt
-pad of paper and pens/pencils
The hardest part of this page was the pocket for the notebook and pens. It was a little bit of trial and error. But it turned out okay. If you have any good ways to make pockets please leave a note so that I can let the readers know too if you don't mind.
This page will probably be the last page of my book but I thought it would be easy so I did this one third. It was pretty easy and I like the idea!

One way to make a pocket it to cut a piece of fabric that is twice the size of the front and back of the pocket. Sew the fabric right sides together leaving a small hole to turn. Turn right side out. Fold about in half leaving about 1/2 inch at top. Stitch on the sides and then down the middle or whereever you want the pockets. Hope this doesn't sound too confusing.
Kelli Make some more pages. You can do it. You could just do a page of crayons for colors. Have him match the colors. Make sure they are the sme shape so he is not matching the shapes.
